Casey is a production crew member, joining DBS in 2016. He has obtained a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. Before DBS, Casey gained valuable experience working for a soils crew at MnDOT and as a maintenance worker. He enjoys being a part of the permanent solutions that DBS implements and helping customers solve their problems. Being able to confidently complete a job at top notch standards is his favorite thing about working with DBS.
Outside of work you can find Casey spending time in the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, and grilling.

A homeowner in Osseo, WI called in to DBS regarding an issue with their garage wall. The concrete block wall was severly bowed, and needed to be stabilized to prevent any ongoing issues. DBS went ahead and installed the GeoLock® Wall Anchor System, which will help strenghten and support the wall. Furthermore, the service should help straighten out the wall in hopes that no further problems occur.
This foundation in Eau Claire, WI, has its third mobile home on top of it. Over time the foundation began to crack. A homeowner reached out to DBS regarding an issue with their foundation wall. A large crack had formed, and it caused the wall to shift and also allowed water to leak in. The problem needed to be solved. DBS went to the home and installed WallDefense straps. These straps are made of carbon fiber-reinforced polymers, and are very quickly installed. These straps will work to hold the entirety of the block wall together, and will prevent further damage from occuring.

After the waterproofing system was in place Casey was able to add the PowerBraces to permanently secure the foundation and prevent further shifting from taking control of the basement walls. When completely this system gives the basement walls a much more clean and bright look and confidence is built in the basement walls when one sees the solid steal beams supporting every wall.
