Brandon joined the DBS metro team in June of 2019. He is our Project Manager in our Total Basement Finishing™ service. Brandon comes from an extensive background of leadership and supervisory roles, managing 30+ employees in a warehouse environment.
His role at DBS involves scheduling and overseeing our basement finishing production teams, ensuring quality work, and an excellent experience for customers. Brandon says his favorite part about working for DBS is the team environment and being able to connect with so many great customers.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys playing with his kids, as well as hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling.

A homeowner in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS looking for an updated finish to their entire basement area. Our Design Specialist recommended our Total Basement Finishing™ service. Our Production Manager, Brandon Whiting, made sure the entire basement was given a clean touch with the use of EverLast™ Basement Wall Panels and new wood flooring. Foreman Brain Whiting led the installation of this project with help from a team. First, the team used the SprayFoam insulation to air seal any cracks or holes in the walls that may be allowing unwanted airflow to enter or exit the home. After air sealing, they installed the insulation across the entirety of the wall to create the insulation barrier, as well as a moisture barrier.

In addition to the new draining system and sump pump, they also installed CleanSpace®, a waterproof poly material that is applied over walls. CleanSpace® will assist in directing water behind the material down into WaterGuard® drains, and the drains will carry water to the TripleSafe™ sump pump to be expelled out and away from the home through an exterior discharge line.
After completing the project, the home has been effectively waterproofed, and the homeowner can now relax comfortably in their home knowing that their home is safe and dry.
