Brandon joined the DBS team in June of 2020 as a Carpenter on our Basement Repair team. With 15 years of experience as a foreman at a painting company, he is a great fit to assist with projects both on the DBS campus and in customer homes.
His responsibilities include assisting our production teams with carpentry work like drywall repair, painting, trim, and other finishes to complete projects at customer homes.
What excites him most about a career at DBS is learning new skill sets and expanding on existing ones, while getting to know the DBS family.
In his spare time, you will find Brandon spending time outdoors hiking, camping, biking, and agate hunting. He also enjoys playing guitar and writing, as well as cooking.
The main floor of this 1935 home in Superior, WI was uneven. The wooden support beams in the basement were failing. This was causing the settling of the exterior foundation, and allowing water to seep into the basement. The homeowners were tired of cleaning up water from the leaking foundation and worried about further damage to the home. After seeing our advertisements on local tv, they contacted us to schedule a free, no-obligation estimate with one of our foundation repair specialists.
DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went to the home and provided an inspection and estimate for the work. After visiting the home, Henrik recommended installed a waterproofing and foundation repair system to fully protect the home.
DBS Foreman Nick Burley and crew installed 5 SmartJack® Support beams to instantly lift the sagging main level. The SmartJack® System comes with a guaranteed warranty of 25 years against manufacturing defects. These support beams will stabilize the home and prevent any further movement.
To complete the job and help insulate the basement, Installed Brandon Wollin installed our SilverGlo™ crawl space insulation to better protect the basement from cold air.
The homeowners can now rest easy knowing their home is healthy, safe, and comfortable!
