Then holes are drilled into the walls from the interior to drill a steel rod out to the excavation site. A GeoLock™ wall anchor plate is installed over the rod in the trench and secured with a bolt, and the same is done on the basement wall side. The bolt is tightened in an effort to help straighten the wall and can be tightened again during dry seasons.

Now that the wall has been permanently stabilized, the homeowner can relax comfortably in their new home without worrying that their basement walls are going to cave in.
