Austin joined the DBS family in 2022 as an Installer on our Dr. Energy Saver team in Duluth. Austin's previous experience in home construction and building customer relationships makes him a great addition to the team.

He is excited to travel and create lasting relationships with our customers in his new role. Austin brings high spirits and a positive outlook to the team, his energy is sure to make an impact on those he works with.

In his spare time, he enjoys taking on technology repair projects and fishing. If Austin were to win one million dollars, he would fix up his house and build a heated garage.

Extreme Flooding in Winter, WI Fixed with TripleSafe® Sump Pump

This homeowner in Winter, WI reached out to DBS with a waterproofing project. The owner wanted to set up a waterproofing system with a new sump pump to make traveling during the winter months possible.

Design Specialist James Miller assisted the homeowner in a free, no-obligation estimate. After a thorough inspection, James provided a quote and recommended our TripleSafe® sump pump.

Foreman Dustin Behning led the installation of this project along with a crew. Together, the crew installed the TripleSafe® sump pump. This sump pump provides three levels of protection. This ensures that the product will continue to work even if one level happens to fail.

This homeowner can now travel for long amounts of time without worrying about water intrusion in their home.

Flooded Crawl Space in Hayward, MN Encapsulated and Protected from Future Issues

These homeowners in Hayward, MN needed major assistance with their crawl space issues. After purchasing a new home, they discovered standing water in the crawl space and rotting support beams. Wanting to avoid any further damage to the home, and to combat any mold issues, the owners reached out to DBS for help.

Design Specialist James Miller assisted these homeowners in a free, no-obligation estimate to find the best solution for their home. After a thorough inspection, James provided a quote and recommended the installation of SmartJack® beams and drainage matting.

Foreman Chris Church led the installation of the encapsulation project. Chris and his team fully encapsulated the crawl space, starting with drainage matting. This helps the soil and dirt under the home to safely and effectively help drain the water in the space. Next, they used SprayFoam insulation to air seal the space and create a moisture barrier. They then used CleanSpace® to line the entirety of the crawl space for a clean, water resistant barrier, which also allows the space to be used for safe, dry storage.

These homeowners can now enjoy their new home know their crawl space is safe and dry.
