DBS Celebrates Success at Quarter 2 Company Meeting
In light of COVID numbers easing and vaccinations rolling out, the DBS family was finally able to gather together for a company meeting! We celebrated the successes of Quarter 1 and looked ahead with excitement for Quarter 2.
DBS Quarter 1 Goals and Highlights
At our company meeting, Directors from each department share highlights, reflect on the hard work of their teams, and summarize projections for the quarter ahead. Here are some of the highlights from Quarter 1:
- Marketing surpassed their lead goal in March, earning the highest amount of leads on record.
- Customer care had an 85% conversion rate for leads booked to appointment in Q1.
- HR has hired 9 new positions in both our Duluth and metro offices.
- Logistics has implemented a new project management core process to schedule crews and customer projects successfully.
- Production teams have dramatically increased their percentage of products installed year over year. They also continue to grow with several new team members in both locations.
- The Sales team forecasts that they will help over 1800 homeowners in 2021.
- The finance department is now 3 people championing our accounting and payroll.
Team Building
During these times, it's been harder for our teams to connect. Production, Sales, Service, and Logistics partnered together for a team-building activity called "Building Bridges." We took this challenge quite literally and tasked each team with building a bridge out of newspaper. We had a lot of fun watching and judging this contest at the company meeting. See the fun here:
Steady Growth
DBS has been steadily growing each year since we opened in 2012. This next year will be no different, with a forecast of record-breaking sales goals for 2021.
