A homeowner in Britt, MN reached out to DBS regarding an uneven garage slab that was poured for their house. The owner stated that this was a 30 x 40 ft. slab with about a 7 inch decline in one area. Due to the severity of the level, the garage portion could not be built on top of the slab until it was fixed. DBS went out to the property to provide a free, no-obligation estimate and concluded that the installation of PolyLevel® would solve the issue.
In many cases, DBS uses PolyLevel® to restore old concrete that has been cracked or shifted over time. However, this project was different. Instead of leveling and sealing a few splitting slabs, DBS needed to even out a full, relatively new garage pad by lifitng it a substantial amount. Nonetheless, this product works for both instances. PolyLevel® is a polymer injection that is planted beneath the concrete surface. Once it is injected, the light weight foam material begins to expand and thus lifts and levels the concrete. With the succes of this service, the homeowner can now proceed with the construction of their new garage!
Having unlevel concrete can cause several issues for your home. It is our mission at DBS to help provide you with the most safe and comfortable environment possible.
