Sidewalk & Driveway Lifting

Your sunken sidewalk or driveway does not have to be torn out and repoured. Using PolyLevel® concrete lifting, DBS raises existing slabs back to their original position, eliminating trip hazards and pooling water with almost no disruption. A sunken sidewalk can be made level again in as little as 15 minutes.

Raise the Slab You Have Instead of Paying for a New One

Erosion from rainwater and gutter runoff, rotted tree roots, and poorly compacted fill all create voids beneath walkway and driveway slabs. The concrete sinks into the empty space, creating raised edges, cracks, and low spots that pool water. Heavy loads, like an RV parked in the same spot, accelerate the sinking.

DBS Repair lifts the existing slab with PolyLevel®: high-density polyurethane injected through small holes spreads beneath the concrete, raises it to its original position, and stabilizes the soil so the problem does not return. There is almost no waiting before you can walk or drive on it, while replacement concrete needs about a day to cure.

Restores driveways level with the garage entrance
Eliminates sidewalk trip hazards and liability exposure
Far less disruptive to grass and landscaping than tear-out
Lower cost and less time than replacement
Stabilized soil prevents repeat settlement
Pairs with NexusPro® crack and joint sealing for full protection

Expert Concrete Slab Repair in Superior, WI

Concrete Lifting vs Tear-Out and Repour

Surface patches do not fix the settlement underneath, and DIY repairs can leave a driveway unusable for up to 30 days. Here is how professional lifting compares with replacement.

Traditional methods

Remove & Replace

Heavy equipment damages grass and landscaping during demolition and removal. New concrete takes about a day to cure before light use. Higher cost and longer project time. Does nothing to fix the weak soil, so the new slab can settle the same way.

Recommended Solutions

PolyLevel® Lifting

Small holes, no demolition, no landscape damage. Slab is raised in minutes and usable within a day or sooner; sidewalks can be level in 15 minutes. Costs less, takes less time, and the expanding foam strengthens the soil so the slab will not sink again.

Sidewalk & Driveway Lifting: What to Expect

1.

Free on-site inspection and estimate

A DBS specialist assesses the slab, identifies the cause of the settlement, and presents a written proposal.

2.

Small holes drilled in the slab

The contractor drills small injection holes in the settled sections of the sidewalk or driveway.

3.

High-density polyurethane injected

PolyLevel® spreads beneath the slab and lifts it back to its original position with controlled precision.

4.

Holes patched and cracks filled

Injection holes are patched and cracks are filled, restoring a clean, uniform surface.

5.

Use your concrete the same day

Walk on lifted sidewalks almost immediately and use your driveway within one day, often within minutes.

15-Minute Sidewalk Leveling

PolyLevel® can make a sunken sidewalk level again in just 15 minutes, restoring a safe walking surface the same visit.

Reduce Liability

Many towns require owners to maintain adjoining sidewalks. Removing trip hazards protects guests, neighbors, and you.

Landscape Friendly

No heavy demolition equipment crossing your yard and no old slab haul-off, so grass and plantings stay intact.

Protects the Foundation

A driveway sinking near the garage can lead to foundation cracks and expensive damage over time. Lifting stops the progression.

Fast Return to Service

No 24-hour cure or 30-day DIY product wait. Most surfaces are usable within minutes to one day.

Fixes the Cause

The expanding polymer fills voids and strengthens weak soil, preventing the slab from sinking again.

I had some concrete lifted in a portion of my 22 year old pool deck. The area in question had washed out some under 35x11 section. The guys were very prompt on the day they were to arrive and the communication from them was excellent. Unfortunately I am delinquent in writing this review so I forgot their names. BUT... what I can tell you is that they were both some of the kindest and polite individuals I have ever had do work on my home. Very interested in exactly how i wanted things to end up and very thorough in the execution of their process. During the process they checked in with me on a couple of occasions to make sure they were accomplishing my objectives. It was important to raise the concrete an exact amount for the 2nd step of the project (which has not commenced yet). The DBS techs checked in with me to make sure things were as they should be before buttoning everything up. Overall I was pleased with the work that was performed and VERY impressed with the techs that performed it. I will definitely use DBS again when the need arises.

I haven't had any repairs done yet, but Myke came to give me an estimate on my concrete driveway and sidewalk. Everything that he explained was clear and thorough. He's very knowledgeable about the products they use, how the process works, and what to expect. Myke was very patient with all of the questions I had. He didn't make me feel like I was being undermined at all and it was sincerely appreciated.
The communication with this company was excellent. They contacted me promptly, followed through with the appointment and were on time and super efficient. The presentation was professional and the cost was what we expected. But best of all, we can afford the solution to our concrete problem! A win for us!

We were very impressed with the concrete repair done on our large front steps. We have experienced significant settling in the past thirty years and we finally are addressing the issue. Shane Ng, the foreman, explained the process at the beginning and kept us informed throughout. They were very efficient and did a great job cleaning up. The results are excellent.

Had DBS come out and give me a quote on repairing a basement wall made of concrete blocks. The wall had big stair stepping cracks, horizontal cracks, and the wall was bowing in. I had multiple company’s out for quotes. The Guy from DBS, Henrik was the first quote I received. He didn’t try to scare me or push me into a sale. He told me what was wrong and what I needed to do to repair it. I didn’t have the same experience with other contractors, I was quoted thousands of dollars of repairs that weren’t necessary and was quoted obnoxious amounts of money to fix it. DBS was always upfront annd honest. Obviously I went with DBS. They installed brackets to secure the wall and straighten it. They were great to work with, their goal was my goal, ensuring the integrity of the wall. The whole process was very easy from my side. I can’t believe the amount of work Shane, the installer was able to get done in one day. Great, honest company. I’d recommend them to anyone.

The crew was great throughout the whole process. From the initial guy on site quoting the job to the guys actually shoveling and leveling the concrete, they were very professional and knowledgeable. When the job was done it looks as if their never was a issue with my concrete all along. Very happy with the results

Excellent! Should I need any concrete work again I have a great resource. The crew that did the work was highly skilled with years of experience. The sales person ugh salesman... No he was very helpful and I learned a ton. Had more than three bids over a few years they all felt off and way more costly more than doable. Couldn't believe the deal. Best of all looks great and level to do that awful snow shoveling. Thank you all at DBS.

Concrete lifting work I had done looks great! The contractor from DBS talked through everything he was planning to do, then did what he said, cleaned up after himself, and then reviewed everything he had done before he left, and took time to answer my questions. Overall it was a great experience!
