Pool Deck Repair & Leveling

Settled, uneven concrete around a pool is a barefoot trip hazard waiting to happen. DBS Repair lifts and levels pool decks with PolyLevel® injection, faster and more affordable than replacement and a better option than resurfacing alone. For pitted or flaking decks, the DuraStone overlay restores a beautiful, slip-resistant finish.

Lift the Settled Deck, Strengthen the Soil Beneath It

Pool decks are prone to settling because of how pools are built: backfill soil placed around the excavation is never as dense as undisturbed soil, and when a heavy slab is poured on top, that loose soil compresses. Sections sink, edges protrude, and the surface becomes hazardous exactly where people walk barefoot.

PolyLevel® high-density expanding foam is injected through small holes drilled in the settled concrete. Installers control the injection so just enough foam is used to re-level the deck, and the foam’s expanding action fills voids in the loose soil, improving its stability and load-bearing characteristics so the settlement will not recur.

Raises settled deck sections back to the proper level
Eliminates protruding edges and trip hazards
Controlled, metered injection for precise lift
Strengthens backfill soil so the problem stays fixed
No yard damage, no long pool closure
Optional DuraStone overlay for pitted, spalling surfaces

PolyLevel® Lifting vs Old-School Deck Replacement

Some contractors still demolish settled pool decks and pour new concrete. Here is what that really costs you compared with lifting.

Traditional methods

Demolish & Repour

Heavy equipment demolishes the settled sections beside your pool. The yard takes damage, debris is hauled out, and the pool is off-limits until the new concrete hardens and cures. Highest cost, and the new slab sits on the same loose backfill.

Recommended Solutions

PolyLevel® Pool Deck Lifting

Small injection holes instead of demolition. Saves time and money and will not disrupt landscaping. The deck is raised to level and the soil is strengthened so settlement does not return. The pool stays usable almost without interruption.

Pool Deck Repair: What to Expect

1.

Free on-site inspection and estimate

A DBS specialist inspects the deck, identifies settled sections and protruding edges, and presents a written proposal.

2.

Injection points drilled

Small holes are drilled in the settled concrete at engineered locations around the deck.

3.

Controlled PolyLevel® injection

The two-part polyurethane mixture is injected beneath the deck. Trained installers meter the foam so just enough is used to re-level the concrete.

4.

Soil stabilization

The expanding foam fills voids in the loose backfill, improving the soil’s stability and load-bearing capacity so the repair lasts.

5.

Finish, seal, or resurface

Injection holes are patched. Joints can be sealed with NexusPro®, surfaces protected with SealantPro™, or the whole deck resurfaced with DuraStone.

Why Repair Your Pool Deck with DBS

Barefoot Safe

Protruding edges and settled sections are eliminated where family and guests walk barefoot.

Minimal Downtime

No demolition and no long cure means your pool season is barely interrupted.

Landscape Friendly

Lifting works through small holes, so there is no heavy equipment tearing up the yard around your pool.

Permanent Soil Fix

The expanding foam strengthens the loose backfill that caused the settling, so the deck stays level.

Proven Track Record

DBS has raised and restored hundreds of pool decks across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Complete Finish Options

Pair the lift with NexusPro® joint sealing, SealantPro™ protection, or a DuraStone slip-resistant overlay.

The crew that did our concrete leveling arrived on time and got right to work. Both Pierce and Ruben worked steadily on the job for three hours straight. When I periodically reviewed their progress, they were very cordial and patient with me explaining how the work was going and the cautions they were taking to not cause any cracks to our pool coping. They showed a high level of skill, and I am very pleased with their work. I recommend this company highly.
DBS was very professional, punctual and went above and beyond to fix our concrete needs. I would highly recommend them. We made a post on Facebook suggesting them to our friends and family. Thanks!

The service technician arrived on time and was well-prepared. Before starting, he took the time to discuss my concerns and incorporated them directly into his work. He spent the entire day working on the concrete until it was perfect, and he thoroughly cleaned all debris from the pool area before leaving. DBS provided exceptional service and quality work at the best price, especially compared to the higher bids I received from other companies. I would not hesitate to recommend DBS to my friends and family.

Every part of our project was handled exceptionally. Our estimate from Travis was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to provide us with reasonable options for our project. We were given a reminder and courtesy call when someone was on their way to our home. All our appointments were on time. The project foreman, Shane was at our home working throughout the project. His knowledge and expertise was critical in accurately in lifting our concrete apron and crack repair in the garage floor. Shane and Cameron worked very well together. We are very happy that we chose DBS to complete our project and have already recommended DBS to others.

Griffin and his colleague were very helpful and explained everything that they were going to do in August 2026 regarding some concrete sealing on a repaired sidewalk piece. They even finished a little earlier than he had initially expected to.

The team showed up and were very conscientious about protecting our property while completing their work. The communication was great, they kept us informed all the way through the process. The employees that did the concrete leveling did a great job and were very professional. We would use your services again!
The communication with this company was excellent. They contacted me promptly, followed through with the appointment and were on time and super efficient. The presentation was professional and the cost was what we expected. But best of all, we can afford the solution to our concrete problem! A win for us! 7/20/26 Update: Well, the concrete driveway project is complete! And It turned out great. Joe was the foreman on the job and he was so professional and nice. He called before they came, updated me several times during the day, and sent me a series of pictures of the finished job. The entire experience deserves an A+. This company is top notch!

Myke came by to give me a quote for a garage concrete lift and leveling project. I appreciated the extra time he spent answering my questions and making sure I understood the work that would be completed. I’ve had a few quotes from other companies in the area and he was very helpful in understanding my options and what would make sense for me (both in terms of cost and long term impact).
