Owners of this small cabin in Brimson, MN were looking for a solution to improve its energy efficiency. They wanted it to be comfortable year-round, as well as keep critters out of the cabin. After seeing our website, they contacted us in search of a permanent solution.
One of our Design Specialists in our Dr. Energy Saver® services visited the property and completed a thorough inspection. They were able to detect spaces where the cabin was losing heat and located a few holes were pests were making their way inside.
Our production team applied 3 inches of closed-cell spray foam to the back wall and gable ends of the cabin exterior, as well as the soffits on this interior. From there, a new ceiling will be installed over the new insulation for a warmer, better protected cabin overall.
