We suggested our spray foam insulation to give the crawl space protection from drafts and cracks letting the air out. A homeowner in Esko, MN called DBS regarding a leaky basement issue. Their home had been built in the 1960's, and the basement was starting to have water leaking over the last few years. Whenever it stormed, water would pour in the basement and it was becoming a real problem. DBS sent out a Design Specialist to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the waterproofing service, and it was concluded that the basement would need WaterGuard® installed around the perimeter of the basement, as well as a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump with exterior discharge line.
For the installation of the WaterGuard®, the concrete lining the edge of the basement perimeter would need to be torn up in order for the drainage system to be placed. This system drains any unwanted water that is built up beneath the concrete of the basement and channels it down to the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump. From there, the TripleSafe™ pumps out the water that is collected through an exterior discharge line to an appropriate location. The combination of these products installed for basement waterproofing can help ensure there will be no more leaking or flooding of the area, and your basement will become a safer and more comfortable environment!

Nick and his crew were tasked with addressing a customer's concern about a lip between the garage apron and the floor, which required the customer to accelerate forcefully to enter the garage. Additionally, in winter, ice on the driveway necessitated the use of four-wheel drive. The customer expected the apron to be lifted to meet the garage floor smoothly and to tilt back to align with the driveway. Despite the challenge of a small apron being down by 2 inches at the garage, with a 3/4 inch lip where it met the driveway, Nick successfully completed the job. The customer valued good communication and honesty, which Nick provided, leading to a successful sale. The customer praised Nick and his crew for their punctuality, professionalism, quick work, excellent cleanup, and appreciated receiving pictures of the completed job.
