Homeowners in Iron River, WI had issues with water seeping up through their concrete slab in the basement. As evidenced in the before photo, this basement has an issue with hydrostatic pressure - a phenomenon in which high pressure from ground water causes water to seep through solid concrete. Looking for a permanent solution for the water issue, they contacted DBS after hearing our ad on local radio.

DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the waterproofing system. A DBS Foreman and crew installed our WaterGuard® System along the perimeter of the basement, that will direct all moisture to a new TripleSafe™ Sump Pump. This pump system has a battery backup that provides several hours of additional protection against water damage if your primary pump fails for any reason, such as during a power outage.

DBS Foreman Zach Royer and his production team installed all of our basement repair products to give this basement solid protection for years to come.

Attic in Iron River, WI Newly Insulated

The owner of this lake home in Iron River, MN reached out to DBS to insultate an addition they completed on the home. They knew that properly sealing the space would ensure its longevity and support the rest of the home as well.

Our Sales Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specialist for the project. He visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the insultation job and recommended installation of our Dr. Energy Saver® SilverGlo™ rigid foam insulation.

Our DBS production crew first completely removed the existing insualtion. They then sealed the space, paying particular attention to sealing all visible cracks in between the building material. This will assist in holding in heated air, and prevent ice dam build-up. Once that was complete, they installed SilverGlo™ insulation, thoughly lining the attic space.
