A Superior, WI homeowner was becoming frustrated with issues caused by water leaking into their basement. The leaking basement leads to drywall damage and constant clean-up as seen in the attached photo.

They learned about DBS via a referral and reached out to us in hopes of a permanent solution. A Design Specialist Rich Johnsen went to inspect the area and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for our waterproofing service. It was determined that the basement would have a WaterGuard® System, as well as a TripleSafe® Sump Pump Systems installed for maximum efficiency and protection against future wetness. The Foreman and crew also extended the exterior discharge line and added a LawnScape Outlet to keep water away from the home's foundation.

DBS just completed one of our first concrete repair projects of the year at a property in Superior, WI. With the spring season starting to kick off, concrete repairs are a very high demand service for DBS to fix ravaged concrete slabs. This service comes with a few different products capable of ensuring a more safe and friendly slab. When concrete starts wear down and crack, it can also begin shifting to uneven positions, causing hazards for those who occupy the area. Since DBS is unable to provide this service during the winter months, early spring is a hot time for concrete repairs to take place, right before the warm summer months. One product that is commonly used in this service is PolyLevel®. What this is is a polymer foam injection that is embedded below the surface of the concrete that has sunk. Once injected, The foam quickly expands and lifts the concrete back to the desired position. It is a quick and efficient way to ensure a more even slab. Another common product for crack repairs is the NexusPro®. This is a sealant that is used to fill in large cracks running along the concrete that might cause further issues down the road. Upon his inspection of their crawlspace, found that several of the support beams had fallen. Additionally, he found rusted and fallen support jacks, as well as rotting support logs. Foreman, Casey Healy and his crew set out to first pour concrete footings for eight of the SmartJacks. Once those cured, the crew began the installation of new support beams as well as the SmartJacks to support those beams. 

The homeowner was so pleased with the results and he was happy knowing his home was now properly supported.
