Mike Horvath

Mike joined the DBS family in April 2023 as a Design Specialist for our Basement Repair team and now serves on the Real Estate Response Team, helping homeowners and realtors navigate urgent repairs during property transactions. With over 22 years of experience as a certified home inspector, Mike brings a deep understanding of residential construction and repair needs to every appointment.

He has completed extensive training in Basement Repair, sharpening his ability to spot issues early and provide homeowners with permanent, effective solutions. His background in inspection has trained him to catch even the smallest details—making him a valuable asset to customers looking for clear, accurate recommendations they can trust.

What excites Mike most about his work at DBS is the opportunity to visit new job sites, meet new people, and provide solutions that help protect a home’s value and stability.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys snowmobiling, hunting, and building things. He’s also spent over 30 years training in martial arts, though he is now retired. If he could have dinner with anyone, it would be Bruce Lee—to connect over their shared martial arts background and philosophy.
