Kayla joined the DBS team in 2025 with over 20 years of experience in customer service and a passion for helping people. Most recently, she worked as a Finance and Sales Specialist with Harley-Davidson, where she was training to become a manager before the location closed. She also managed a gift shop on an Army post, gaining valuable leadership experience. Throughout her career—including roles in finance, billing, cashiering, and FSA account support—Kayla has remained focused on delivering calm, friendly, and solution-oriented service, especially during challenging situations. She takes pride in making sure each customer feels heard, understood, and well cared for.
Kayla believes that customer service isn’t just about getting the job done—it’s about how well the task is completed and how the customer feels at the end. She has a natural ability to stay positive and solution-focused, even when dealing with frustrated customers, taking time to either resolve the issue or provide helpful education about company policies and procedures.
With a drive to grow and learn, Kayla is excited to dive into her role at DBS and looks forward to the training and support the company provides. She’s eager to be part of a team that values top-tier customer care and brings a genuine enthusiasm to her new journey.
When she’s not working, Kayla enjoys weight lifting, meal prepping, scenic walks, shopping, and exploring her faith. If given the chance to have dinner with any fictional or historical figure, she’d choose Jesus—to better understand his life, teachings, and experiences without the layers of interpretation that history has added over time.
