Tim Balow

Tim is a strategic, process-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in the Human Services field, where he held high-impact roles across organizational leadership, program development, business growth, training, and client services in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Tim joined DBS in 2025, bringing that same results-driven mindset and customer care to his role as a Design Specialist. As a longtime Minnesota resident and homeowner, he understands the unique demands the region’s climate places on homes—from freeze-thaw cycles and moisture control to aging infrastructure.

Tim’s most distinctive quality is his empathetic approach to service. He excels at helping homeowners understand the scope of concerns in a clear, honest way, while offering product and service solutions that protect health, improve comfort, and add long-term value.

He’s especially passionate about guiding homeowners toward smart, cost-effective renovations that ensure safety and peace of mind.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys a full life exploring the outdoors—hiking, canoeing, biking, camping, and hammocking around Minnesota lakes. He also loves visiting new Twin Cities restaurants and parks with his daughter and is a devoted Green Bay Packers fan with a deep love for team sports.

If he could have dinner with anyone, it would be Abraham Lincoln—over steak at Manny’s—to talk about American values, national leadership through crisis, and how Lincoln might have approached reconstruction differently had he lived to see it through.
