DBS had the honor of interviewing Jim Kojola of Maple Lake, MN about a Foundation Repair project done on his cabin in Hibbing, MN. Over the summer, our marketing team visited Jim at his cabin to learn his story and how important the cabin repairs were to him. While our crew installed our Helical Piers underneath the cabin to support the settling foundation, our marketing team collected footage of the installation process. Cabin Foundation Issues

Jim reached out to DBS looking for help with the settling foundation underneath his cabin. He worried about whether or not he would be able to preserve the cabin that he and his friends and family worked hard to build almost 40 years ago. One of our Design Specialists, Jake Gilmer, inspected the cabin during a free no-obligation appointment to address Jim’s concerns and propose how DBS could help restore the structural integrity of the cabin with our Helical Pier System. 

Foundation Repair Process

One of our Foundation Repair crews led by Foreman, Trevor Ingle, went out to the cabin to install our Helical Pier System. They removed each of the old concrete piers under the cabin and replaced them with our helical piers one by one.
