WaterGuard® French Drain System Installed to Keep Carlton, MN Basement Dry

Homeowners in Carlton, MN were having water issues in their basement. After learning about our company from the Duluth News Tribune, the owners contacted DBS in search of a permanent solution. 

DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen is our expert in basement waterproofing and visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. After thoroughly inspecting the leaky basement, he designed a plan with our WaterGuard® french drain system and a feed line to protect the entire basement.

DBS Foreman Joe Harris and his crew installed our basement waterproofing products. First, they dug a trench around the perimeter of the basement and carried out the concrete. From there, they installed our WaterGuard® drainage system and surrounded it with gravel to encourage proper drainage. A feed line was also run through the middle of the basement floor to prevent water from seeping through the basement concrete. Once the drain system install was complete, they connected it to the home's exsiting sump pump and covered the drain with new concrete. 

The homeowners now have a solid solution to keep water out of the basement.
