DBS Design Specialist Jason Brummer visited the home and performed a thorough inspection, assessing the basement wall cracking. His action plan for the block walls in the basement was to install our PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System, and to lift and level the sinking concrete on the home's exterior. 

DBS Foreman Zach Jorenby and crew installed a PowerBrace™ I-beam in the trouble area. Our team anchored the beam to the basement concrete, as well as to the rim joist in the ceiling. This beam will be tightened overtime to restore the wall's original position.

The homeowners were happy with the work done and can now count on a safe and supported basement.

The owner of this home in Minneapolis, MN had issues with pools of water in their crawl space. Their pipes had frozen over many times, and they were becoming frustrated with the issue. In hopes of finding a solution, the homeowner reached out to DBS.

Design Specialist Henry Jungbaur went to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate. After a thorough inspection, Henry noticed that there was a lot of DIY plumbing work that was done underneath the home, and whoever did it had obviously not done any of it correctly. He informed the homeowner about our Crawl Space Encapsulation service and mentioned that it may help their living spaces feel warmer, and protect their crawl space from more water damage.

Foreman Nicholas Woods II led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together the crew sprayed closed-cell polyurethane spray foam on the interior walls of the crawl space to air seal and insulate. Next, they created a better drainage field in the crawl space by leveling out the dirt in some areas and installed a SmartDrain® for water removal. Finally, they installed a layer of CleanSpace® water vapor barrier to complete the system.

Now that the crawl space has been encapsulated, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind knowing that their crawl space will stay warmer and drier.

A homeowner in Blaine, MN reached out to DBS with concerns about their uneven garage floor and a large crack. The crack extended throughout the entire garage, and the homeowner was worried about the long-term safety of their home.

Our Design Specialists went to the home and gave a free, no-obligation estimate on the garage. After the inspection, they recommended using our Concrete Repair Service. One of our crews installed our PolyLevel® foam beneath the slab to lift and level the garage floor. Following that, they applied our NexusPro™ sealant to effectively fill in the cracks. A customer reached out to DBS because they noticed that their sidewalk was uneven and had cracks, and wanted to fix the issue. To assess the situation, our Design Specialist visited the property and recommended using our PolyLevel® foam to lift and level the slab. Additionally, they suggested sealing the cracks with our NexusPro® concrete sealant to prevent water from entering and causing further damage.

After getting approval from the customer, our crew went out to the property and successfully adjusted the concrete back to its original position using the PolyLevel® foam. They also sealed the cracks with our NexusPro® concrete sealant to prevent any future damage. The results were simply amazing!
