These homeowners from Bovey, Minnesota reached out to DBS for help stabilizing their cracked and bowing foundation walls. Luckily wall damage was present and foundation settlement was not. The wall failure indicated that increasing soil pressure over time was damaging the structural integrity of this home. 

DBS Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the home and walls Henrik recommended installing PowerBrace™ wall support beams. These steel I-beams come from Supportworks® and offer an immediate wall stabilization solution. Over time, PowerBrace™ wall support beams are tightened in an attempt to bring bowing walls back to level. This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Nick Burley and his production crew. This Bovey, MN home is not healthy, safe, and comfortable. 

This customer reached out to DBS after they had purchased a house. They wanted to make sure their crawlspace was 4 seasons safe and that they could use their crawlspace more efficiently. They were expecting a dry, clean storage space for the future! Our Design Specialist recommended a fully waterproofed space including a CleanSpace® wall barrier, brand new TripleSafe™ Sump Pump, SaniDry™, and spray foam for rim joist insulation.

An Bovey, MN homeowner was sick of anticipating water and mold in their basement each year, so she contacted DBS to find a permanent solution! One of our design specialists visited the house to provide a free, no-obligation, estimate. They ultimately concluded that adding a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system and a CleanSpace wall poly system was the best course of action.

One of our foremen led his group in this installation. The team started by removing concrete spots from the house's interior perimeter. Then, to permanently address flooding, they installed our sub-floor drainage system.This led to the homeowner feeling confident their basement will be dry moving forward!

A homeowner contacted DBS after purchasing a house and wanted to ensure that their crawlspace was a dry and stable place for storage. During an inspection, our Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo, found a crack in the foundation wall, and he suggested the installation of 3 push piers to stabilize and lift the foundation wall. He also recommended a fully insulated and waterproofed crawlspace and the installation of a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier to keep the area dry and clean.

After the homeowner agreed to the plan, the crew, led by Foreman Jared Peterson, arrived and started by clearing out the space and installing the 3 push piers to lift the foundation. They then sprayed the walls and rim joists with a spray foam system to insulate the area and prevent air leaks. Once the spray foam was installed, the CleanSpace™ Wall System was set up to direct water to the sump pump and prevent mold and mildew growth. Finally, the TripleSafe™ sump pump and dehumidifier were installed to ensure that the crawlspace remains dry at all times. The homeowner was very pleased with the final result and now has a dry and stable crawlspace for additional storage.
