Foreman Tyler Nacey led a team in the installation of this project. Together, the team removed concrete from the basement and placed drainage pipes that connect to a sump pump. This WaterGuard® drain collects water through the walls and at the floor joists in order to catch any intrusion before it enters your basement. The water is then transported to a sump pump and discarded from the home. After installing the drain system, the concrete is replaced in a smooth and flush manner.

By clearing out the old, insufficient insulation, they could identify any unwanted leaks or cracks that were letting air flow in. Dr. Energy Saver SprayFoam was used to insulate the space. This insulation material is very resistant to moisture and mold, and fills cracks and holes to air seal the space for a more effective insulation.
