In Cloquet, MN, a homeowner faced continuous discomfort due to a damp and wet basement, causing frustration and obstructing plans for a new food storage area. The ‘before’ image reveals the ongoing issue with water intrusion. To address this, we implemented our comprehensive system. This basement had walls with cracks that were allowing water to come through the wall and enter the basement. We used our CleanSpace matting to create a waterproofed wall. This method also creates a bright white clean look for the basement foundation walls. 

This customer had another contractor come in and blow in a bunch of fiberglass insulation. To properly insulate this home we dug through this insulation to find all the major penetrations found and air seal them. Then new attic air chutes need to be installed and the new cellulose blown in over the top of the fiberglass. Then we insulated the entire rim joist. These photos show the difference of how the attic was previously insulated and how we completed a full insulation installation. The home will now be warm and cozy.
