Cabin owners in Sarona, WI wanted to spend the winter living in their cabin. The cabin had some insulation in the crawl space, but it was consistently moist, and was also hosting a family of mice. Those two products work together to prevent water from freely collecting and evaporating into the crawl space.

This homeowner in Sarona, WI wanted to save their boathouse. Instability was taking over, so the homeowner reached out to DBS for help.

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home in order to conduct a free, no-obligation estimate to find the best solution. After a careful inspection, Henrik recommended our Piering Services.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led the installation of this project with help from a team. These piers are driven into the ground using hydraulic pressure. Once the pier reaches solid, stable soil, the pressure pushes against the ground and causes the piers to raise the structure. 

This homeowner can now relax knowing their boathouse is safe and sound. 

A barn owner reached out to DBS regarding their block walls. The walls were beginning to bow considerably, and the individual wanted to find a solution to prevent further damages. After thorough inspection, it was concluded that the barn would need to have GeoLock® Wall Anchors installed to help add support. These are galvanized steel anchors that are embedded in to undisturbed soil on the exterior side of the wall, and are attached to an anchor on the interior side through a metal rod. This provides optimal stabilization for the wall, and can even help pull it back in to the original positioning.
