A DBS foreman and their production crew installed the spray foam and the homeowner plans to cover the areas in paneling.

To properly seal-off the space from cold air, close-cell spray foam was suggested for the foundation walls and rim joists. Our production team applied the spray foam, as well as our CleanSpace® vapor barrier directly to the crawl space dirt floor. Foreman Zach Royer and his crew drove 4 Helicast™ Helical Deck Piers into the ground to support and restore the porch's original position. Our crew also completed removal of existing sonotubes, in which the original footings of the deck were poured.

DBS Production Manager Kevin Steffey was the project foreman. He and his crew first excavated soil around a portion of the exterior wall to perform a wall straightening procedure as well as install SilverGlo™ and SentrySeal® products to seal and protect that wall that was prone to water. This was supported internally with 2 CarbonArmor® Wall Defense straps to prevent the wall from futher movement.

Our crew also installed a full WaterGuard® french drainage system. This system sits flush with the floor and is completely hidden, directing all water to the home's existing sump pump and a new exterior drainage line.

To further prevent moisture and the growth of mold, closed-cell spray foam was applied to fully seal and regulate temperature in the space. 

For the attic, our team first removed the existing insultion and proceeded in air sealing the entire space. Afterwards, they replaced the blown-in insulation using cellulose, which has an incredible R-value.
