The owner of this home in Superior, WI reached out to us looking for help with their wet basement. One of our Design Specialists went to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist created a quote for our basement waterproofing service.

Our crew came out to install WaterGuard® french drains around the basement and also installed CleanSpace® water vapor barrier to thoroughly waterproof the space.

Now that the basement has been waterproofed, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.

This homeowner had previously had waterproofing and GeoLock™ Wall Anchors installed by DBS and was looking to install Silver Glo Foam vertically up against the exterior wall and install a buried discharge line for the sump pump.

DBS Foreman, Osia Williams, and his Co-Foreman, Rowan Wentworth, worked hard to complete the job. They excavated around the house and the previously installed GeoLocks™, installed the Silver Glo Foam along the walls, and backfilled with sand and the dirt they excavated earlier. After they backfilled they installed the sump pump discharge line.

After seeing our advertisement in the newspaper, homeowners in Superior, WI reached out to DBS when water was leaking through the foundation of their home and into their basement.

DBS Sales Manager Royce Bunn visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for our waterproofing service. It was determined that a partial waterproofing system would be installed, paired with foundation support. A DBS Foreman and crew excavated soil around the base of the home and added a Sentry Seal membrane to seal off any cracks in the foundation from the outside. The crew also installed SilverGlo™ insulation to further protect the home's foundation.

Inside the home, a CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System was used to stop the wall from any further movement. Additionally, a high-performing SuperSump® Premier Pump System was installed to pump water up and out of the home. 

The homeowners were happy with the work done and no longer have water issues in the basement!

After inspecting the current insulation and utilizing heat mapping technology it was evident there were many air leaks and weak points in the existing insulation. The solution was a hybrid attic system that utilized closed cell spray foam to seal off air leaks and applying 18 inches of blown cellulose insulation on the attic floor. The sides of the home were dense-packed with blown insulation to keep outdoor air from entering the home. This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Orrin Sundberg and his production crew.

This home is now healthy, safe, and comfortable!

The system directs all moisture to a new SuperSump® Premier Pump System.

The crew also installed 16 PowerBrace™ steel I-beams to stop the movement of the bowing basement wall and restore their original position. These homeowners were happy with the work done and now have a safe and dry basement to enjoy!
