DBS Before & After Photos

This section of the foundation wall had cracks so extreme that the homeowner had to use expanding foam in an attempt to seal the home away from the wind, cold, and water outside of the home. The homeowner knew this solution was a temporary fix and provided zero structural integrity for the wall. Fortunately, they found out about the work DBS Residential Solutions does to permanently secure foundations. After a full evaluation of the situation the homeowner signed up for a blend of foundation repair solutions that were used across the home depending on the needs in certain areas. In the section pictured we used Helical Tie Backs and Carbon Armor Wall Anchors to permanently stabilize this foundation wall. With this in combination with patching the previous cracks we have created a stabilized wall that seals the home away from the outside environment. 

The owner of this home in Duluth Heights was having difficulty shoveling their sidewalk because several of the slabs had sunken by roughly an inch. With this issue present, the customer was not able to easily slide a snow shovel along the concrete surface which often resulted in an incompletely cleaned sidewalk that could become dangerous for visitors. After seeing examples of the power of our polyurethane concrete leveling system PolyLevel the homeowner knew it would be the right choice for his sidewalk. After waiting for a few short weeks for the winter to pass our production crew was at the customer's home ready to make the customer's day. With such small slabs of concrete our crew worked carefully to make sure none of the slabs were lifted too quickly. This attention to detail made the entire project a success. The homeowner now has a level concrete path that is much easier to shovel completely clean when the winter rolls around once again. 

This concrete garage pad outside of the garage had sunken so far that it was difficult to move average sized cars in and out of the garage due to the clearance of the cars. The homeowner had tried a few temporary fixes over the years, but with several failed attempts they knew it was time to have the professionals at DBS Residential Solutions lift and level the garage pad. 

In this Duluth, MN basement, DBS was called to help find a solution to leaking water. System Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home and found a quality solution for the problem. The installation crew with Forman Kevin Steffey installed a TripleSafe Sump as well as a WaterGuard drainage system. The homeowner now enjoys a dry, safe basement. 

This crawlspace has had small leaks for over twenty years. The homeowner reached out to DBS to find a permanent solution to this problem. System Design Specialist, Rich Johnsen, was able to find a permanent solution by installing a WaterGuard© system and a TripleSafe© sump.  Foreman Casey Healy and his crew were able to install this waterproofing system and the homeowner was happy with the results!
