DBS Before & After Photos

This Duluth, MN home had a sidewalk and patio that had both settled over time, creating large cracks and sloping toward the house. Water was pooling near the foundation, and the uneven concrete posed a tripping hazard. Our team used PolyLevel® to lift and level the concrete and sealed the joints and cracks with NexusPro® for a durable, watertight finish.

Foreman Nicholas Woods II lead a team in the installation of this project. Together, the team began the insulation process by removing the old insulation and air sealing any cracks that were leading to air leaks in the space. After air sealing, SprayFoam insulation was used to create a moisture resistant barrier and to avoid air seepage. Finally, TruSoft™ cellulose insulation was placed as a final layer to ensure complete and effective insulation of the attic.

Foreman Dustin Behning led the team in the installation of this project. Together, the team removed the flooring around the perimeter of the basement. After doing so, they installed the drains that connected to a sump pump. These drains collect water seepage from the walls and floor joists and transport the water to the sump pump to be discarded outside of the house. After the installation, the floor is covered with concrete to create a flush look. Once the concrete dries, the installation is totally complete.

This homeowner will no longer have to stress about water intrusion when Spring time comes around.

Foreman Osia Williams led the installation of this project, along with a team. Together, the team used the CarbonArmor® defense material to stabilize the wall and prevent any further movement. These straps are made out of materials that are 10-times stronger than steel. These materials are woven together into a fabric-like material and applied to walls to hold them in place.
