Once our Design Specialist was able to get out to the property, they recommended a plan that involved removing the current fiberglass and applying our Dr. Energy® spray foam to the rim joist to help keep the floor permanently insulated. Foreman Chris Church led the installation of the encapsulation project. Chris and his team fully encapsulated the crawl space, starting with drainage matting. This helps the soil and dirt under the home to safely and effectively help drain the water in the space. Next, they used SprayFoam insulation to air seal the space and create a moisture barrier. They then used CleanSpace® to line the entirety of the crawl space for a clean, water resistant barrier, which also allows the space to be used for safe, dry storage. 

These homeowners can now enjoy their new home know their crawl space is safe and dry.
