This homeowner in Tower, MN was facing problems with the foundation settlement sinking. They wanted this problem fixed and the structure lifted so they could build a new addition next to the cabin and fix the unfitting doorways.
Design Specialist James Miller assisted this owner in a free, no-obligation estimate in order to decide what solution would be the best for their home. After a careful inspection, James recommended that helical piers be used to lift the foundation back to the original position.
Foreman Trevor Ingle led a team in the installation of this project. Together, the team installed 8 helical piers in order to stabilize and lift the cabin. These piers are driven into the ground like a screw until it reaches stable, native soil. Using hydraulic power, the pier then pushes against the ground and back to the structure to lift the structure's foundation back to its original position. This will close gaps and cracks, and realign the doors and windows.
This homeowner can now build their new addition knowing their cabin is permanently stable.

Foreman Jordan Salmi led the installation of this project with help from a team. These piers are driven into the ground using hydraulic pressure. Once the pier reaches solid, stable soil, the pressure pushes against the ground and causes the piers to raise the structure. This homeowner can now relax knowing their cabin is safe and sound.

We recently helped a family in Tower, MN who were concerned about their basement. They noticed that their basement was frequently cold and humid, with an unpleasant smell that suggested the presence of mold. They wanted to ensure a safe and healthy environment for their family. Our System Design Specialist visited their home for a thorough inspection. After diagnosing the problems with humidity and potential mold caused by water leaks and poor drainage, we recommended our trusted solution: the installation of WaterGuard for advanced drainage, IceGuard to prevent backup from frozen pipes, and our TripleSafe Sump Pump system to ensure the basement remains dry under all conditions. Our experienced installation team took care of the rest, efficiently installing these products and addressing the homeowner's concerns with expertise. The WaterGuard and IceGuard systems work together to effectively redirect water away from the property, preventing leaks and ensuring that blockages from ice or snow don't compromise the basement's dryness. The TripleSafe Sump Pump offers triple protection, especially important during heavy rains or snow melts, keeping the basement dry, healthy, and mold-proof. After the installation, the homeowners immediately noticed a difference. The musty smell dissipated, and the basement's environment became noticeably warmer and more comfortable.
