Proudly serving Minnesota and Wisconsin - including Duluth, Minneapolis, Eau Claire and nearby areas
This home in Hibbing, MN had issues with water leaking in the basement. Water was seeping into the basement via the foundation and concrete floor in the basement. Hoping to fix the water and gain more usable space, they contacted us after seeing our work in the Duluth News Tribune.
DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation inspection and estimate for the work. After visiting the home, Rich recommended installing a waterproofing system around the entire perimeter of the basement.
DBS Foreman Joe Harris and crew installed 105 feet of a WaterGuard® subfloor french drainage system to drain water into a brand new TripleSafe™ sump pump. This system contains 3 pumps; the first can handle up to 2,600 gallons of water an hour, the second pump kicks in during periods of heavy rainfall to pump a total of 6,200 gallons of water, and the third pump comes on with a battery back-up in the case of a power outage.
The homeowners can now rest easy knowing their home is healthy, safe, and comfortable!
