Dusty Crawlspace in Minneapolis, MN Home Causes Health Concern Issues Solved with DBS CleanSpace® Poly Sheet Vapor Barrier

The owners of this home in Minneapolis, MN noticed that their crawlspace was kicking up a lot of dust into the living spaces of their home, and noticed that their basement felt colder than usual. Looking for a solution to their issues, they reached out to DBS.

A DBS Design Specialist went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowners. After a thorough inspection, the Design Specialist recommended our insulation services to help keep the basement warm and our crawlspace encapsulation to help mitigate dust.

Foreman Nick Woods II led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they installed a layer of CleanSpace® water vapor barrier in the crawlspace to seal off the space.

The crawlspace has been properly air sealed and insulated, and the homeowners will be able to relax more comfortably in their warmer and healthier environment.
