Design Specialist Jake Gilmer completed a detailed inspection after the camp board expressed concerns about the building’s foundation. Their plans to add a new deck were on hold until the structure could be properly stabilized. After reviewing measurements and several solution options, they chose to move forward with a lasting repair. Our team stabilized the foundation and encapsulated the crawl space, ensuring the cabin remains safe and dry. The Girl Scouts were thrilled to learn that encapsulation would also help keep the cabin warmer—solving the issue of frozen pipes and allowing them to enjoy the space even during colder months.
