Cracked Foundation Wall Permanetly Stabilized in Duluth, MN

This homeowner in Duluth, MN had a cracked and bowing wall due to soil expansion. The owner wanted to address this problem with a professional solution, so they trusted DBS to help.

Our Design Specialist assisted the owner with a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, they recommended our GeoLock™ Wall Anchoring System to permanently stabilize the foundation wall.

DBS foreman, Osia Williams, led the installation of this project with help from his Co-Foreman, Rowan Wentworth. Earth anchors are installed outside of the home, below the ground, and the steel plates are installed inside the home on the bowing wall. These systems are connected using a steel rod which stops any further movement and can also be adjusted in order to restore the wall back to its original position.

This homeowner now has a piece of mind knowing their home is safe and secure.
