Owners of this 1950's home in Canyon, MN had issues with water seeping through foundation cracks in the basement. As evidenced in the before photo, this basement has sustained water damage from prolonged water exposure. Tired of cleaning up their flooded basement after heavy rains, they contacted DBS for a permanent solution.

DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation repair and waterproofing system. DBS Foreman Joe Harris and crew installed our WaterGuard® System along the perimeter of the basement, that will direct all moisture to a new SingleSafe™ Sump Pump. The crew also installed CleanSpace® vapor barrier on the walls that were extra prone to water leakage. 

To correct the structural issues, the team installed 4 PowerBrace™ beams to correct the bowing foundation walls, as well as 8 SmartJack® beams to support the sinking basement supports. 

This home is now protected against further structural movement and water issues.
