In Cotton, MN, a homeowner is preparing to build a deck designed to support bunk houses—but before construction begins, they wanted to ensure long-term stability. DBS Foreman Joe Harris installed 6 PowerBrace™ I-beams. Our team anchored the beams to the basement concrete, as well as to the rim joists in the ceiling. These beams will be tightened overtime to restore the wall's original position.

Foreman Osia Williams led this project with the assistance of a team. CarbonArmor® wall straps are made with material that is 10x stronger than steel. This material is woven into a fabric-like material and molded to the walls to prevent further movement and instability. These straps tighten even more when tension is applied, making them more secure as time goes on.
