One of our Design Specialists, Bobby Rindahl, went to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist provided the homeowner with a free quote for our CarbonArmor® wall straps. One of our crews led by Foreman, Osia Williams, installed our CarbonArmor® wall straps along the basement walls to provide permanent stability to the foundation.

The owner of this home had recently moved in when they discovered that their basement struggled with staying dry. Cracks had also formed in the walls, an indication of foundation failure. Looking for a solution to their leaking and foundation issues, the owner called DBS.

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went out to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate of the issues. After a thorough investigation, he informed the owner of DBS's solutions that would fix both issues. For the leaking, he suggested installing WaterGuard® Drain System, CleanSpace® to waterproof the walls, and a TripleSafe™ sump pump. As for the foundational issues, he recommended the PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System.

Foreman Joe Harris led the installation for this project. With the help of a team, they installed the WaterGuard® Drain System to help direct water into the TripleSafe™ sump pump so that it can be expelled outside and away from the foundation. The walls were lined with CleanSpace® to direct water leaking down the walls into the WaterGuard® Drains. They also installed 16 PowerBrace™ I-beams to stabilize the walls. The PowerBrace™ System is backed with a 75-warranty against movement.

The homeowner can now relax comfortably in their new home knowing that their home has been permanently stabilized, their walls are free from further cracking, and the leaks have been contained.

With the help of a crew, they installed 3 PowerBrace™ I-beams to support the wall that was cracked and bowing inwards. Following a proper installation, the home is now permanently stabilized against additional cracking and bowing.
