Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. It was determined that a lift procedure was needed to address foundation settlement, as well as some supplemental support. Jose Valenzuela and his crew installed 100+ feet of supplemental support beam beneath the home and then drove 6 HelixPro® piers into the ground to support the structure. These piers are driven through the soil, down to the strata layer of rock, providing solid support to the space.
The owner was happy with the work done, and can continue to enjoy this cabin retreat with family for years to come!
The owner of this home in Tower, MN was getting ready to sell their property when they discovered it had foundational issues. Foreman was sent out to the property to lead the installation of this project and with the help of a crew, they installed 10 helical piers. After the installation was properly completed, the home is guaranteed against the movement for 25-years with a transferrable warranty.
Now that the home has been permanently stabilized, the owner can have peace of mind knowing that they will be able to continue the process of selling their home in order to find another home that better suits their needs.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led a team in the installation of this project. Together, the team installed 8 helical piers in order to stabilize and lift the cabin. These piers are driven into the ground like a screw until it reaches stable, native soil. Using hydraulic power, the pier then pushes against the ground and back to the structure to lift the structure's foundation back to its original position. This will close gaps and cracks, and realign the doors and windows.
This homeowner can now build their new addition knowing their cabin is permanently stable.
