This Duluth, MN home was built in 1967. Over the last few years, the owners noticed issues with soil around their home sinking, which inevitably lead to cracks and pressure on the foundation. In need of a permanent solution, the homeowners turned to DBS to save the structural integrity of the entire home.
After meeting us at the Duluth Boat and Travel Show, they called DBS and scheduled a free, no-obligation estimate with our Design Specialist James Miller. He diagnosed the foundation issues, and created a plan for the home's repair using a combination of 2 types of wall support systems.
Foreman Nick Burley and his crew first affixed 6 CarbonArmor® Wall Defense Straps to the Wall. This Wall Reinforcing System is made with materials 10-times stronger than steel, and prevents further wall movement.
