Mold Growth Stopped with SprayFoam Insulation in Superior, WI Crawl Space

This home in Superior, WI was facing issues within the crawl space. Moisture and water intrusion were allowing mold growth to take place. The floors inside the home were also very cold during the winter months. Needing a professional and permanent solution, they reached out to DBS for help. 

Design Specialist Henry Jungbauer assisted the homeowners in a free, no-obligation estimate to find the perfect solution for their home. After this thorough inspection, Henry recommended the homeowners have SprayFoam insulation installed.

Evan Lafontaine led the installation of this project along with a partner. Together, the duo removed the old batting insulation in order to expose any holes or cracks. The SprayFoam insulation acts as a sealant and will air seal these exposed cracks for a more effective solution. This SprayFoam is also water-resistant, making it extremely hard for moisture to enter space and contribute to mold growth.
