DBS Before & After Photos

A DBS Design Specialist visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation repair work. He diagnosed the foundation as bowing - the common result of inward pressure cause by soil over time.

A DBS Foreman and crew installed 3 GeoLock™ Wall Plates and Earth Anchors to the failing foundation wall. This system uses the heavy-duty anchors in and connects them to plates on the wall interior wall. Connected with long, galvanized rods, these anchors are tightened to straighten the wall over time and provide maximum support. Our team also added 4 Push Piers inside the garage to immediately lift the sinking structure.

The customer was happy with the work done and now has a permanent solution they can count on for years to come.

The driveway of this home in Golden Valley, MN was built over a bridge. The bridge was showing signs of settling and it was clear that a solution was needed because there were cracks forming.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they installed 5 cabin piers and 6 deck piers underneath the bridge to permanently stabilize it. Each pier was driven into the ground until it hit soil sturdy enough to support the weight of the structure, ensuring that the driveway will be free of additional movement in the future.

Now that the driveway has been permanently stabilized, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind and not have to worry about their driveway collapsing.

Before reaching out to us, this homeowner in Robbinsdale, MN, was grappling with a damp and musty crawlspace that was negatively affecting their home environment. This homeowner was facing a leaky wall on the north side of their basement, especially under the stairs. They were only interested in waterproofing the north wall due to the inconvenience of doing the entire basement as they wished to rent out the basement of the home. We were able to install a WaterGuard along that north side wall, as well as a SingleSafe sump pump system, so the water could be directed to a safe discharge point outside the home. This targeted approach ensured that the north wall would remain dry and the basement could be rented out without any water issues.
