A homeowner Minneapolis, MN reached out to DBS looking to give their basement a total makeover. The area was unfinished and the owner had a Design Specialist come out to look and provide them with a free, no-obligation estimate for the Total Basement Finishing™ service. It was concluded that the basement would be finished with new floor tiles and mold-resistant wall panels, as well as a change in ceiling tone. The end results were beautiful, and the homeowner can now enjoy a more healthy and comfortable basement living area. 

This typical Minneapolis, MN basement was partially finished. However, it was outdated and had issues with moisture. Wanting to transform their basement with moisture-resistant materials, they contacted DBS.

DBS Design Specialist Jason Swanson visited the home and gave a free estimate for the basement finishing project. This included installing some waterproofing infrastructure to help eliminate water issues. Our team installed mold and moisture-resistant flooring, wall panels, and finishing trim. 

After demolition of the existing basement wall panels and flooring, our team installed wiring, plumbing, lighting, and ductwork infrastructure. From there, our team installed our Total Basement Finishing™ system to transform this space from basement to beautiful!

A Minneapolis homeowner contacted DBS looking to make their home more comfortable with new drop ceilings in their man cave and bathroom. While half of their basement had recently been renovated, the remaining portion had crumbling ceilings and insufficient lighting. To address this, Mitch Porter, a skilled design specialist from our team, visited the residence to provide a free, no-obligation, estimate. After careful assessment, Mitch determined that our finished linen ceiling along with LED can lights would offer the ideal solution. Demmary Thomas, one of our foremen, led his team through the process and their basement has now been transformed into a comfortable space, alleviating concerns about ceiling deterioration.

This customer reached out to DBS after noticing cracks in their basement walls and on the outside of the house. With the intention of potentially renting out or selling their property, they wanted to make sure their basement was safe and wasn't going to cause any further issues in the future.

When our Design Specialist, Nicholas Corbin, went out to the property, he inspected the cracks and was able to relate them to a foundation issue. The foundation was settling and the house needed to be supported through the installation of interior piers and lifts.

Once our production crew was able to get out to the residents property, they were able to install our 3" Push Piers that have a low profile bracket underneath the foundation and lift it back into place. Once the products were installed, the homeowner was happy with the results and could be more comfortable renovating the basement for the future of the house.
