DBS Before & After Photos

Dealing with a musty smell in your basement can be trickier than expected, just like our Saint Paul homeowner discovered. The before photo captures a neglected crawl space, untouched for decades, silently contributing to the discomfort. Understanding the need for a significant transformation, we brought in our magic wands: CleanSpace® and spray foam insulation. As you can observe in the after picture, these solutions not only revitalized the space but locked out the dampness, providing a persistent solution and a breath of fresh air above.

These Saint Paul, MN homeowners wanted to make better use of their basement. Living in an older house in Saint Paul, they were interested in our system because of its insulation and water resistant qualities. 

DBS Total Basement Finishing Design Specialist Denny Meintz visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the basement finishing project, keeping in mind the family's vision for the space.  It was determined that EverLast™ Basement Wall Panels would be installed along the perimeter in the basement, along with MillCreek Flooring™, and recessed lighting.

A DBS Carpenter and crew successfully performed some demolition, and provided additional insulation by using spray foam on the basement rim joists. They then installed the products mentioned above, completing base electrical, and installing outlets, switches, and jacks. The homeowners also opted to go for a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier in the space to keep relative humidity at a comfortable level in the space.

This family now has a beautiful, custom addition to their home to enjoy!

Foreman George Barry led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 4 push piers under the footings of the home to permanently stabilize the structure.

The homeowner will be able to relax much more comfortably without worrying about their foundation sinking further into the soil.

This home in Arden Hills, MN was suffering from sinking concrete that was creating an uneven and cracked surface. The owner wanted to find a solution to level out the area and seal the cracks, so they reached out to DBS.

A DBS Design Specialist assisted the owner with a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, a quote was provided for our Concrete Lifting and Leveling Services.

Cody Morrow completed this concrete repair project. Our PolyLevel® Foam was used underneath the concrete. This foam expands and hardens in order to lift the concrete back to a level position. Then our NexusPro® Sealant is used to fill the cracks and joins of the concrete. This sealant also protects the project from weather elements. 

This concrete is now level and protected!
