The owner of this home in North Branch, MN was thinking of selling their house when they decided that they should address their foundation issues regarding bowing walls in their basement before doing so, especially in case they were to stay so the issue does not get worse over time. Looking for a solution, the homeowner reached out to DBS.

A DBS Design Specialist went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, the Design Specialist recommended our GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System to permanently stabilize the walls.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they installed 3 GeoLock™ anchors by placing the earth anchors in trenches outside of the home's foundation, attaching a wall plate to the inside of the basement, and connecting the two sides of each system with a rod secured with bolts tightened to permanently stabilize the wall.

Now that the foundation has been properly supported, the homeowner will be able to relax more comfortably with peace of mind.

The owner of this home in Harris, MN wanted an energy-efficient solution for their place. It was cold in the wintertime and they wanted to be able to use it year-round so they reached out to DBS.

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, Henrik generated a quote for our Crawl Space Encapsulation Service.

Foreman Jason Foster led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed drainage matting on the ground in the crawl space and layered panels of TerraBlock™ foam insulation to protect the space against frost. Then they sealed the space using CleanSpace® water vapor barrier. To complete the job, the crew sprayed polyurethane spray foam insulation on the vertical walls in the crawl space.

Now that the crawl space has been properly waterproofed and insulated, the homeowners will notice that their living spaces are much warmer in the wintertime, allowing them to be able to use the space all year-round.

In Harris, MN, which is about an hour north of Minneapolis, a homeowner reached out to DBS because they were faced with the worry of a hollow-sounding concrete slab and the persistent nuisance of water pooling in their garage. Once our Design Specialist, Justin Mundahl, went out to the property, they suggested the use of our PolyLevel to help lift and level the concrete, and our NexusPro to seal off the cracks for permanent water resistance. As shown in the photo gallery, we expertly addressed both surface and structural concerns, ensuring a watertight and stable concrete solution that far exceeded expectations, effectively casting their worries aside.
