In Harris, MN, which is about an hour north of Minneapolis, a homeowner reached out to DBS because they were faced with the worry of a hollow-sounding concrete slab and the persistent nuisance of water pooling in their garage. Once our Design Specialist, Justin Mundahl, went out to the property, they suggested the use of our PolyLevel to help lift and level the concrete, and our NexusPro to seal off the cracks for permanent water resistance. As shown in the photo gallery, we expertly addressed both surface and structural concerns, ensuring a watertight and stable concrete solution that far exceeded expectations, effectively casting their worries aside.
Check out this before and after of a concrete repair project in Somerset, WI! We sealed and leveled their concrete patio and garage apron to mitigate tripping hazards, proving the homeowner with peace of mind.
Before the foundation of this Somerset home raised red flags during a pre-sale inspection, as you can see in the left photo, its stability was compromised; an issue many homeowners dread. Our solution? A customized Helical Pier system which, by anchoring to stable soil far below the surface, guarantees a firm and durable foundation support. Notice in the after photo how these strategic installations have not only delineated but resolved the foundational dilemma allowing for a secure and successful home sale. A clear testament to our commitment to delivering long-lasting solutions and a remarkable customer experience every time.
The owner of this home in Lindstrom, MN reached out to DBS looking for a solution to their cracked and unlevel driveway slab.
Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, Henrik mentioned our piering system and concrete leveling services.
Foreman Jason Foster led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed piers along a corner of the garage that had sunken into the soil. They also injected PolyLevel® underneath the concrete slab in order to lift and level it. To finish the project, the crew sealed the cracks with NexusPro® concrete sealant.
The customer can relax with peace of mind not having to worry about the issues anymore.
This homeowner in Rush City, MN had bought a fixer-upper hoping to update the basement of the home. However, the renovations could not progress any further without addressing the problems with the foundational wall support. Needing expert advice and peace of mind, the homeowner turned to DBS for help.
Design Specialist Mike Anderson provided a free no-obligation estimate for the owner in order to find the best solution for the home. After careful inspection, Mike recommended that the owner install a CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System.
Foreman Osia Williams led the installation of this solution with help from a team. Carbon Armor was needed because of limited space availability. The solution needed to remain inside the home but still be able to fully support the wall. Suffering from 1" sheering, multiple wall straps were needed to ensure the walls would be completely and permanently supported. This solution is made out of materials that are 10-times stronger than steel and will prevent the wall from any further movement.
This new homeowner can now continue with his basement renovation knowing this DBS solution is secure and discreet.
