They had been having issues with mold in their basement and wanted a permanent solution to the problem. Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. Foreman, Kevin Steffey, and his production team installed our WaterGuard® System along the perimeter of the basement, as well as CleanSpace® Wall Poly on the walls. The system directs all moisture to the home's existing sump pump.

Owners of this 1970's Grand Rapids home reached out to DBS for information on waterproofing their leaky basement.

A DBS Foreman and production team installed 30 feet of our WaterGuard® Drainage System along the perimeter of the basement, as well as CleanSpace® Wall Poly on the walls. This system directs all moisture to a brand new SuperSump® sump pump.

After hearing about us on local radio, homeowners in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS when water was leaking through the foundation of their home and into a lower level bedroom. 

DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for our waterproofing service. It was determined that a partial waterproofing system would be installed. DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and crew excavated soil around the base of the home and added a Sentry Seal membrane to seal off any cracks in the foundation from the outside. The crew also installed SilverGlo™ insulation to further protect the home's foundation.

The homeowners were happy with the work done and no longer have water issues in that basement bedroom. 

These Pelican Rapids, MN homeowners wanted to make better use of their 900 square-ft. basement. They recently had a waterproofing system installed and were ready to take the final step in finishing their basement space. 

DBS Total Basement Finishing Design Specialist Denny Meintz visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the basement finishing project, keeping in mind the family's vision for the space.  It was determined that ZenWall™ Paneling would be installed along the perimeter in the basement, along with a finished linen ceiling, and recessed lighting. DBS Carpenter Jason Petrella and crew successfully performed some demolition, built-out an additional wall and room divider, successfully completing all finishes necessary. 

This family now has a beautiful, custom addition to their home to enjoy!

These homeowners in Superior, WI reached out to DBS for help insulating their crawl space. They had been experiencing heat loss and their pipes were freezing.

Design Specialist, Hunter Riley went to the property and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. Hunter recommended using closed cell spray foam to properly insulate the basement. Foreman Jason Foster and his production team applied the foam inside the crawl space.

This crawl space is now more energy-efficient and safe from freezing pipes!
