Dr. Energy Saver® Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. Henrik measured where heat loss was occurring and closed cell spray foam was recommended properly insulate the basement walls and rim joists. The walls were stabilized using our GeoLock® wall anchor system. A DBS Foreman and its production crew worked hard to install the products and make this home healthy safe and comfortable.

With aspirations to finish their basement, they wanted a solution to the water issues before investing in basement finishing. He and his production team installed our WaterGuard® System along the perimeter of the basement, as well as CleanSpace® Wall Poly on the walls.
The system directs all moisture to a new TripleSafe™ sump pump. The crew connected this system to a new discharge line with IceGuard® to prevent freezing water in the winter months.
