These homeowners in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS for help insulating their attic. Rising heating and cooling costs were becoming an issue and they wanted a permanent solution. 

A Dr. Energy Saver® Design Specialist went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the attic and conducting an energy audit it was determined additional insulation was needed to keep this home healthy and comfortable. DBS Foreman Orrin Sundberg installed SilverGlo™ along the uninsulated walls to prevent outdoor air entering through the knee wall.

Homeowners in Mondovi, WI had lived in this home for 15 years. They knew that the basement would consistenty leak in a few areas from the foundation. Fearful that the water issue would only get worse, causing mold and other damage to the basement, they contacted DBS. 

DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation support and a waterproofing system. DBS Production Manager Kevin Steffey was the foreman on the job. He and his crew installed our WaterGuard® french drain system along the perimeter of the basement. This system directs all the moisture to a new TripleSafe™ sump pump. 

In order to combat addtional humidity in the basement, the crew also connected a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier to the sump pump. This will pull moisture out of the basement, keeping humidity levels consistent. 

The installation was successful and provided a solid solution to pooling water in the basement!

A DBS production crew removed the existing attic insulation and applied blown-in insulation to the proper depth for a strong R-value standard.

The system directs all moisture to a new SuperSump® Premier Pump System. The crew connected this system to a new discharge line, directing water further away from the home's foundation. The home also had a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier installed to take care of any humidity in the basement.  Finally, an EverLast™ Window Insert was also installed to keep the basement's natural light source, but make the window more efficient.

These homeowners in Cotton, MN reached out to DBS for help encapsulating their crawl space. They have had problems with musty odors in their home and were battling with rising heating and cooling costs when DBS arrived.

After inspecting the home Henry recommended installing CleanSpace® vapor barrier on the exposed earth floor and insulating the walls and rim joists with airtight closed cell spray foam. This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Orrin Sundberg and his production crew.
