The attic in this Cook, Minnesota home had not yet had any form of insulation installed on the walls. They chose to go with our spray foam insulation to make their home a more comfortable place to live. 

This boathouse in Cook, MN needed to be permanently stabilized. The foundation had slowly shifted causing damage to the walls of the building. After the homeowner called DBS, Design Specialist, Royce Bunn made a trip out to the building and did a thorough inspection. He explained to the owner that the best solution would be to install helical piers to permanently stabilize the foundation. Royce came with a written proposal that day and after it was signed, a date was set to have the production crew perform the installation. Foreman, Kevin Steffey and his crew came out to the building and installed the helical piers. Once the installation was complete, the owner was able to safely spend time in his boathouse.

A homeowner in Cook, MN was experiencing some issues with the basement of their home and the stability of the walls and ceiling. Over time, the weight against the structure had caused the walls to start bending, and the floor above to start sagging. In need of a solution, they had a Design Specialist come out and offer a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation repair. It was determined that our crew would go in and install a set of PowerBrace™ units as well as a SmartJack® system with a supplemental beam to support the floor above. These cabin owners reached out to DBS when their boathouse began to sink into their lake! 

Design Specialist, Royce Bunn went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. GeoLock® Anchors were installed on the retaining wall by the lake to stabilize the yard area. Our SmartJack® System was used to permanently stabilize and lift the foundation of the boathouse. This system works by driving piers deep into the earth until bedrock is hit, which offers permanent stabilization for this structure.

Foreman, Kevin Steffey, and his production crew installed the support systems and these homeowners can now enjoy their boathouse for years to come without fear of it sinking or becoming unstable!
