DBS Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the property, Henrik recommended using Supportworks helical piers to lift and permanently stabilize the cracked foundation. 18 helical piers were recommended to keep this home healthy and stable. The owners of this boathouse in Cook, MN noticed that the foundation of it was sinking deeper into the sand as time passed. Over the years they had developed many memories and building a new boathouse was not an option for them. Hoping to find a solution, the owners reached out to DBS.

These support systems are made up of a steel rod that is connected outside in the ground to an Earth Anchor and inside to steel plates attached to the unstable wall. This system offers a permanent solution and can be adjusted in order to restore the wall as close to its original position as possible.
