First, they poured new footings for the jacks to securely rest on. Next, the SmartJacks were installed. This resulted in one happy customer, as he felt that his home was now safe and secure. 

A homeowner in Proctor, MN had a basement that was unfinished, and they reached out to DBS for help with finishing ideas. A homeowner in Hermantown, MN had a basement with poor protection from leaking water. Old basements with concrete walls and floors are susceptible to water damage, as concrete can begin to crack and shift, allowing outside material to agin access to the interior portion of the basement. In this case, the homeowner reached out to DBS, and had a crew come and install several waterproofing products to aid in the extraction of unwanted water. The photo attached shows both CleanSpace® wall covering as well as WaterGuard® after installation. The results were a success, and the homeowner can now enjoy a more safe and comfortable basement environment. 

A homeowner in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS regarding deck foundation stabilization. Their wood posts were being poorly supported with concrete footings, and they were in search of something to provide them with better strength. It was decided that the deck would have helical piers installed to bring lift and stabilization for the structure of the deck. These steel piers are ideal for this scenario, and the homeowner can now feel more comfortable with stronger deck support.
